you can do oh so many things
if you look around and like an artist, you can watch them by going to their profile and clicking watch deviant on the right hand corner. then notifications are sent to you and you can see your favorite artist. by the way check out some of the deviants i'm watching :) theyre really good. and of course you can upload stuff and write journals, take polls, enter contests, etc etc. :)
